Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. One-Time Donations

Donors may make a one-time donation in an amount of their choosing through the donation options provided on our website.

One-time donations are voluntary charitable contributions and are generally considered final once successfully processed.

However, we understand that mistakes may occasionally occur. Refund requests may be reviewed in situations including:

• Duplicate donations or duplicate charges
• An incorrect donation amount entered by mistake
• A donation submitted unintentionally
• A technical or payment-processing error
• A transaction believed to be unauthorized

Refund requests are reviewed individually based on the circumstances of the transaction.

2. Recurring Weekly Donations

Donors may also have the option to establish recurring weekly donations through our online donation system.

Available recurring donation amounts may include options such as:

• $10 per week
• $25 per week
• $50 per week
• $100 per week

By selecting a recurring donation option, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the selected donation amount on a recurring weekly basis until the recurring donation is cancelled.

A cancellation request applies to future scheduled recurring donations. Cancelling a recurring donation does not automatically refund donations that have already been successfully processed.

3. How to Request Cancellation of a Recurring Donation

If you would like to cancel a recurring weekly donation, please contact Islamic Culture Center of Monticello Inc. using the contact information provided at the bottom of this page.

When contacting us, please provide enough information for us to identify the recurring donation, such as:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number, if available
• The recurring donation amount
• Any applicable transaction or receipt information

Please do not send complete credit or debit card numbers through email or a general website contact form.

4. Refund Requests

If you believe a donation was processed incorrectly, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request information including:

• Your name and contact information
• The date of the transaction
• The transaction amount
• The reason for the refund request
• Transaction or receipt information, if available

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved. Requests are reviewed based on the circumstances involved.

5. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, we will generally attempt to return the funds to the original payment method used for the transaction.

The time required for the refund to appear may depend on Clover, Fiserv, the applicable card network, and the donor's financial institution.

We cannot guarantee the exact date on which a bank or card issuer will post an approved refund.

6. Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe your card or payment account was used without your authorization, please contact us promptly.

You should also contact your bank, credit card issuer, or other applicable financial institution regarding suspected unauthorized activity.

7. Payment Processing

Online one-time and recurring donations may be processed through Clover, a Fiserv payment processing service.

Payment authorization, recurring billing, cancellation processing, and refund timing may therefore also depend on Clover, Fiserv, applicable card networks, and participating financial institutions.

8. Future Classes, Programs & Events

Islamic Culture Center of Monticello Inc. may offer paid classes, educational programs, community activities, events, or registrations in the future.

If payment is required, specific refund or cancellation terms may be provided during registration or on the applicable program page.

Depending on the activity, fees may be refundable, partially refundable, transferable, or non-refundable.

9. Cancellation by Islamic Center of Monticello

If we cancel a future paid class, program, or event, we may offer an appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances, including a refund, credit, transfer, rescheduling, or another reasonable option.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our donation options, recurring payment practices, programs, payment processing arrangements, or applicable requirements.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
